PHOTO FOR THE DAY

The front entry of the First Presbyterian Church near Little Rock, Arkansas. This photo was taken during our cross country drive in October. We arrived in Arkansas pretty late in the evening then had some issues with a number of hotels - remind me to tell you the penny story later - so by the time we had settled into the final hotel it was about 11 PM when I was able to visit the church. I had seen the church on the way into town. It was lit up and absolutely stunning, just drew you to it. So much so that I went out at 11 PM after 10 hours of driving, got totally lost trying to find it and still spent about 45 minutes shooting photos. I would have loved to have seen the inside.

OF THINGS TO COME

I just returned from a trip to the Midwest where I was the location photographer for an episode of the Meteorite Men TV show. This lovely church was in a small rural town where we spent quite a bit of our time. There will be more posts about my adventure in the near future (including behind the scenes pictures), so keep checking back!
